Oh meow! Balloon of Courage was shortlisted this month for the Apila Primera Impresión prize, the largest illustration and design publisher award in Spain, and will be exhibited at the Aragon Higher School of Design in 2024. Meow!

This is a real surprise! I have the opportunity to promote the works of the Cat in the Shell Studio to more countries and regions, and to attract more friends to stop and appreciate them. My heart is filled with little stars, and I am excited and happy. Whoosh! I put this joy in my heart and cheer for our next work! 🎈✨

About APILA

The Apila Primera Impresión Award has been organized by the Apila Ediciones Publishing House since 2013 and has become an authoritative European competition to support unpublished illustrators. The competition aims to encourage the creation of children's books, in cooperation with the Aragon Higher School of Design and supported by the Zaragoza City Government, demonstrating its important position and influence in the fields of education and culture.
