The work "Dream. Happy Journey" was successfully shortlisted for the 11th Hiii Illustration International Illustration Competition!

Today, my work "Dream. Happy Journey" was successfully shortlisted in the 11th Hiii Illustration International Illustration Competition! When I saw the words "Congratulations! Your work won the award!", I was so happy inside!

This competition received 4,520 works from more than 60 countries and regions around the world. After three rounds of rigorous selection, only 157 works won awards and 566 works were shortlisted. I am honored to stand out from this fierce competition and become one of the shortlisted.

I sincerely thank Hiii Illustration International Illustration Competition for giving me this precious opportunity. In the future, I will continue to embrace my passion and use my brush to depict more wonderful stories.

Creative concept

Memories are like cicada wings, slowly weaving out my dreams. Here I can express my emotions and ideals to my heart's content.

There is no smooth and complete story here, only my memory!

Blank space and ink staining are unique techniques of Chinese painting. The "subtle" and low-key style contains more stories. This "subtlety" is also a unique language of Chinese painting, like a dream. The seemingly unrelated stories are localized in the picture, and finally connected by the vague blank space.

Hiii Illustration International Illustration Competition solicits illustration works from illustrators, creative agencies, teachers and students around the world. The competition aims to discover outstanding illustration forces at home and abroad, commend outstanding illustration works, and promote the development of the illustration industry.

Hiii Illustration 2023, the 11th Hiii Illustration International Illustration Competition, is divided into four categories: A-Commercial Applications, B-Publications, C-Children's Picture Books, and D-Non-Commissioned Works. After three rounds of rigorous review, awards in each category will be selected and commended.

After more than ten years of development, Hiii Illustration International Illustration Competition has become one of the most important illustration competitions in the Asia-Pacific region and even the world in terms of scale of participation, quality of works and industry influence.
