Last week on July 28th, as the manager of the Cat in the Shell Studio, I had the honor to participate in the editor promotion event organized by Pineapple Circle and Teacher Qin Nan. I had the opportunity to show my picture book works "Hope" and "Cat Chasing a Ball of Yarn", as well as other types of illustrations and commercial inserts to more than 40-50 guests and editors. I benefited a lot from it!

Recommendation meeting, roundtable meeting! "Journey to the Pineapple Circle Art Festival"

First of all, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone! Last week on July 28, as the owner of the Cat in the Shell Studio, I was fortunate to participate in the editorial promotion event organized by Pineapple Circle and Teacher Qin Nan. I had the opportunity to show my picture book works "Hope" and "Cat Chasing Threads", as well as other types of illustrations and commercial works to more than 40-50 guests and editors. This event was the first interaction for me after my transformation and leaving the education industry! It was of great significance and also gave me a lot of valuable advice and opportunities!

The editorial presentation was a great opportunity for me to showcase my work to industry professionals. During the self-introduction and presentation, I also deeply felt my passion and focus, as well as my shortcomings in creation. In the process of establishing connections with more than 20 editors and outstanding peers, they gave me a lot of pertinent comments and suggestions on my work, which is extremely valuable for me who is slowly growing on this path. Through exchanges with editors, I have a deeper understanding of picture book creation and commercialization, and have also had a deeper thinking about painting style, positioning, and characteristics.

In addition, in the roundtable discussion organized by TeaPi on July 29, I got to know the experience sharing of commercial illustration works, inspirations and how to commercialize brands from Mr. Qin, the founder of Pineapple Circle, and other outstanding colleagues. In this exchange session, I felt the atmosphere of common growth in the industry and realized that success in the field of commercial illustration requires continuous learning and progress.

This event was a great achievement in my career and benefited me a lot. I learned a lot of new knowledge, made many like-minded friends, and also received a lot of guidance and support from professionals. In the future, I will continue to work hard, keep learning, keep innovating, and work hard to create better works.

Finally, I would like to thank Pineapple Circle and Teacher Qin Nan for their organization, the editors for their guidance, and the designers for their sharing and support. I will slowly appreciate this rare experience and regard it as an important asset on my creative journey.

Thank you very much, meow!
